Yearbook Yourself

I am in love with this yearbook yourself stuff... Here are a few of the ones that I thought were funny... I just shot a picture tonight with the webcam...

Murder Mystery

I was invited over to a friends birthday party this past Saturday and it was pretty fun. It was a murder mystery at the Juice Joint... Sam was suppose to come with me but he ended up having to work so I had to go all alone. I was nervous, I am not the type of person that likes these kinds of things but I have to say, I did have a good time. I did not get into it as much as some but at least I got out of my comfort zone and tried...
LOVELY DRESS that I got at Goodwill for seven bucks...

Nathan the birthday boy and I ended up being lovers, which was kinda ackward... but it was ok...
THE GIRLS!!!
THE BOYS- President Pratt won for the best dressed...

Happy Birthday Nathan

Trip To Dallas

A week ago I was in Dallas for a very special occasion. My dear friend Eden went through the temple... I met her almost three years ago while serving as a missionary in Texas. It has been a long haul since then but what a glorious occasion it was... I forgot to bring my camera so I dont have too many pictures and some of the ones that I do have did not turn out that great but here are a few pictures of the weekend...
Here are somethings that I got to do as well but do not have pictures:
-Visit with Britney Becker and have breakfast at Sonic... I had the sunshine smootie, YUM! While there I see a car pull up and I recongnized Sister Vanderpool, a women in that ward... It was coeincidence because the last time I ate at that sonic was with her... Random.
-I also got to visit two wonderful family... Amanda Robertson and her boys Leisin and Kasel... and also Andre and Lori Otano... What fun...
-I got to see so many wonderful people (Huntsman's, Brassfields, Janis's, Titensors and more)at the temple as well as at church... including Sister Stevens (whom I served with in Coppell, where we met Eden)

Last but not least was Sunday in Weatherford... So in September of 2007 I got called to my last area on my mission in Weatherford and Mineral Wells, Texas... What a great place. It was so different then my previous two area and there was one small challenge. They had been made a stake the year before but did not have a building big enough to be their stake center... But then something terrible happened, or so it seemed. Their church building burnt down. The members had to drive an hour and a half or more to attend church... Missionary work was hard but we worked harder... We held a special sacrament meeting in the home of a member in Mineral Wells (a smaller town) west of Weatherford. Sundays were a day of driving or riding for us. I came to love the people and their dedication. They were humble and showed so much compassion for eachother. Although their church burning down was sad, it was a blessing in disquise. When they became a state they were told by Salt Lake that it would take 8 years to build a new church (Stakecenter) in that area, but with the burning of their own church, they were able to be looked at to have a building be built sooner. So this weekend while I was there was the dedication or actually their stake conference in the new building, I think the dedication is this weekend. It was so neat to have an oppurtunity to be there and celebrate in their joy. I was able to see some wonderful people whom I love. My mission President and his wife were also there and spoke and it was fun to see them. They had been down south of the mission over the weekend and had it not been for the stake conference I would have not been able to see them. They did not know that I was there and afterwords walked up and suprised them. It was super fun... I love love them... So below are pictures of their new building... YAY Posted by Picasa

We had a trunk or treat at the church on Halloween and there was a great turnout... The young women in our ward were in charge of a cake walk and we also had a cupcake walk... It ended up being a great night..

Fishing

I had to post the fishing pictures from back when the Harts were here... We had a blast going over to the Munns home to fish... Braden was the super fisherman today. I think he caught 10 or more fish... I was not great, somehow the fish always ate my worms off... I did get a few... but I did get the best catch for a few seconds... scroll down to see what I caught!!!

A GATOR!!!

There was a gator out in the Lake and it kept coming over to where our lines were cast, but then it would go away... Well one time it came over, opened up and chomped right down on my bobber... I pulled and pulled but it was strong. It finally opened its mouth or something cause, I started realing it in and it came back... We were all laughing so hard... So I get to say I caught a gator, even if it was only for a few seconds...

Serpentarium

We had a fun time at the serpentarium on Friday. Uncle Tanner was able to come before his soccer practice and that was fun... We got to see the workers there milk some snakes and we jus got to walk around and see the different animals or I should say serpents that they have there. We got to see Turtles, a Pariot, many different snakes and lizards, iguanas, and alligators. I have to say that going through the snake place was kinda creepy and one of the big boa constrictor glass case has a HUGE dead rodent in it. I am glad that I was not there when he was eating it...

The boys loved the turtles and we got to feed them as well. The were all piling on eachother to get the food... It was fun to watch.Posted by Picasa

Green Meadows Farm

Last week we went to the Green Meadows Farm in Poinceana. It was a blast. I had never heard of this place before... Below are some picture collages of the day. We got to hold little chicks and ducks... Gavin loves saying "my baby ducks." Both the boys tried kissing them...

We got to see pigs, goats, lambs and ostridge's... I have to say that they are pretty ugly close...

We got to go into the duck pen and try and catch one. I got one and it was fun to have the boys try and hold i...

We also got to try and catch the chickens and they were ALOT harder... We have pictures of Lindsay trying outside and I was in the chicken coop wanting to get one so bad. I finally grabbed one by the tail and pulled it in. VICTORY!!!
It was fun to see Braden and Gavin ride the horses. They rode big horses in Wyoming this summer!!!

Overall we had a GREAT day... It cost about $20 per person even Braden but it was worth it...

The Harts are Here!!!

Well the Hart Family is now in town and life has been on super high speed!!! We have loved having Lindsay, Braden and Gavin grace us with their presence. Below are some pictures of some of the adventures so far... This is a birthday Celebration that we had for the two boys. Gavin turned 2 on the 10th and Braden turned 4 on the 20th of this month. We made a cake and the boys got to blow out their candles. They opened their present from Ama and Ampa... It was a voucher for a trip to Walmart to pick out some fishing poles. More pictures to come...
So Thursday morning I came home from the gym to find Braden ready to go on the Jet Ski... A few weeks back we went out in the water and it was so warm and today it was cold. Notice I have a sweatshirt on under my life vest. It was fun though, Gavin even joined us for a short ride, he was calling Ama the whole time we were out. We also have baby ducks that come aroud a few times a day... Gavin loves to say "my baby ducks" so so cute. They are growing bigger and bigger every day. In one of the pictures, the ducks are crossing in the water, we had to make a quick turn on the jet ski to avoid them...So so fun! We also have cat fish that we feed off the end of the dock. Uncle Sam is also so fun, the boys love him. I think his knees are a little sore from being the horse... I love the picture of Saturday morning where the boys were such big helpers. They helped Sam mow the whole entire lawn...

Baking time at Ama's is a highlight, so far we have made Pizza dough and sugar cookies... No matter what is being made, Gavin loves to eat it.
We love love having them here!!! Thanks Blake for letting them come!
